PAN-EUROPEAN VJ, MTV NETWORKS EUROPE
Ina Géraldine has become the first ‘face’ of MTV Networks Europe. With model looks, a burning passion for music and a truly pan–European
outlook – Ina is fluent in German, English, Spanish and French – she personifies the network which now reaches 110 million homes across Europe via ten localised channels and nine websites.
A Berlin native, Ina is a MTV veteran having cut her presenting teeth at MTV Germany from 2000 to 2003 where she presented many of the channel’s flagship shows including Amour, In Touch, Hacienda and Hitlist Germany. Having stunned MTV Germany bigwigs with her ability to handle any and everything that came her way and to truly connect with her audience, Ina was singled out as the prime candidate to front the whole network –
an impressive accomplishment for someone who is just 24.
Since joining MTV Networks Europe, Ina has been flying all over the Continent to front our biggest shows and report on the latest stories – from presenting the European Top 20 to fronting the MTV Europe Music Awards surround programming.
As is par for the course at MTV, she has interviewed some of the biggest names in the music business – from P Diddy to Moby, Erikah Badu, Alicia Keys and Mary J Blige – and some of the hottest stars from the silver screen including Leonardo di Caprio and Jodie Foster. Ina will soon be seen across Europe fronting Isle of MTV programming throughout Summer 2003.
Previous to her incarnation as a superstar MTV VJ, Ina worked on various radio stations, appeared in adverts and modelled for several international fashion designers.
